Below are the basic concepts that helps the guild run smoothly. Feedback and questions are always welcome.
Guild Bank
1. Do not remove items to sell them on the Auction House. This is a first offense, last offense - we will not support a lazy toon's gold habits. You will be kicked.
2. Do not remove items your class cannot use. If the item is "for an alt", the alt must be in the guild and take it out of the Armory tab itself.
3. Do note remove items your level cannot use. (Exceptions allowed when a bi-monthly disenchant happens where the Armory is emptied out, and items near your level will be sent to you by the disenchanter on duty, usually Jhisalith [Chestnut].)
4. Do not remove more value than you contribute. This would eventually lead to an empty bank.
5. Do not deposit gray quality items. This causes unwanted clutter.
6. Please place items in the appropriate tabs. See the tab names/information for what goes where.
7. The Officer's Tab and gold deposited will be used for guild bank tab purchase, guild event rewards or other sanctioned activities.
8. Raid Tab items are for Raid use only--they are not to be used or taken out of the bank except by members who are currently in a raid. You should never take more than you need, and put back what you do not use. All raiding members should contribute to this tab on a weekly basis.
Guild Channel and Ventrilo
1. Please do not swear in excess. We have members of all ages and backgrounds; so if asked, please don't take offense, but do tone it down (and discontinue the behavior, if it becomes a problem). The same goes for talk of a sexual or drug related manner.
2. Please note we have a 25man Ventrilo. Ventrilo information will be shared on a need-to-use basis. If Ventrilo is used outside of guild activities without permission, repercussions may occur. Use for Arena Teams, Mostly-Guild Runs, Fun Nights, and General Chatter amongst guild members is sanctioned. Use for other games amongst guild members (e.g.: Starcraft, City of Heroes, etc.) is also sanctioned.
Recruitment and Inactivity
1. Anyone of Senior Veteran rank or higher may recruit toons to the guild.
2. No toon, regardless of rank, will be removed for inactivity less than four months. This attempts to improve our "online" numbers by allowing for "occasional" players.
3. All recruits enter the guild at "Probation" rank and will not be promoted until a week later. This allows the recruit and the guild time to see if we fit well. If the new member does not mesh well with the guild (which is rare), they will be asked to leave, and be thanked for their time.
Promotions, Demotions, and Ranks
1. Rank is not based on the level of the player's characters or time spent in the guild.
2. Rank is based on a weekly council of the Officers who will decide if any players merit advancement.
3. Officers look for the following qualities: positive guild attitude, participation in guild events, leadership initiative in creating groups and events, willingness to assist others, and guild bank donations.
4. Demotions are rare, but contributing factors to a demotion include: prolonged inactivity (over six months with no explanation), lack of participation in guild events, poor guild attitude, lack of willingness to assist others, and any misconduct or complaints. Only Officers have the ability to demote.
5. Guild ranks are as follows:
Guild Master
Senior Officer
Officer
Senior Veteran
Veteran
Junior Veteran
Raider
Member
Initiate

Positions and Responsibilities
The following is a breakdown of leadership positions within the guild, who currently is filling those roles, and what the general responsibilities for these positions are. Please note that some players contribute more than their roles require. This is a player choice, and they may stop with these extra responsibilities at any time so long as they are not a part of their designated leadership roles.
Guild Master: The go-to guy for overall guild concerns and recruiting. While all officers can answer most questions (and recruit), this is the guy you go to with concerns about high ranking members, or just to chat. The guild master has the final say in any decisions regarding members' status, and helps facilitate officers in their positions.
Bibliothecary: This officer helps manage the forums, and create guides and tutorials on various topics that interest themselves and benefit the guild. Also manages forum posting by members and updates "Links" section. This officer is your go-to guy for anything and everything related to the Guild Forums.
Conquistador: This officer is in charge of the achievement aspect of the guild and works in tandem with the Cruise Director and Events Master. The conquistador is your conquerer of mounts and vanity pets! Interested in a Glory of the Hero run? Or want to set up a Classic Dungeonmaster night? This is your go to guy.
Cruise Director/The Awesome: This officer is in charge of events and promotions for the guild and works in tandem with the Conquistador and Events Master. The cruise director manages the lottery and weekly events for the guild that result in cash prizes, and organizes guild events to help level the guild and earn us achievements (come Cataclysm).
Events Master/Raid Leader: This officer is your Raid Leader equivalent and works in tandem with the Conquistador and Cruise Director. The events masters organizes at level raids, and older raiding content for the enjoyment of the guild. The events master also organizes fun nights like fishing.
Guild Relations [and Banhammer] (Officer): This officer is in charge of guild relations with other guilds. The guild relations officer helps to build new relationships with other guilds to try cooperative events in both current and old content, as well as fun nights. Works in tandem with the Events Master.
High Warlord: This officer is in charge of all PvP aspects of the game, including: arenas, [pre-made] battlegrounds, PvP related achievements, and managing the PvP forums. The high warlord works in tandem with the Conquistador and Events Master.
Vault Master (Officer): This officer is in charge of any and all bank issues and organization. The vault master keeps the guild bank organized so that others can find what they need, and makes sure items are in their respective tabs. The vault master also watches the logs to see what kind of banking activity the guild has.
Peon Overlord: This veteran player helps to manage new members, and inform them of the website, answer questions, and provide them with information on starting on their way to our end-game content.
Professions Master: This veteran player is in charge of the Trading Post on the forums, the professions tabs in the Guild Bank, and helping people work on their professions. THIS OFFICER IS NOT A GIMME GUY! They will NOT use their own personal materials and resources to level other's professions. Instead, they will mediate trading, whether via gold or other materials, amongst members.
Guild Events
1. Guild events will be posted only on the In-Game Calendar, so check it often.
2. If any member wants to organize an event at a time more convenient for them, talk to Chestnut and something will be coordinated and placed on the calendar. If this becomes a regular event led by a member, promotion is likely.
